Publication Relevance
The colour code associated with Publication Relevance depends on the Impact Factor (IF) of the journal reported by Journeal Citation Reports (JCR). An IF ranking of journals relevant to MIPRCV, included in a list of selected JCR categories (2011), is used to establish three ranges of increasing Publication Relevance:
: journals in the 1st quarter of the ranking (IF > 1.587)
: journals in the 2nd quarter of the ranking (1.000 <= IF <= 1.587)
: journals in the 2nd half of the ranking (IF < 1.000)
MIPRCV Relevance
The colour code associated with MIPRCV Relevance depends a priori on the scope of the journal:
: the keywords (or synonyms) "interactive" or "multimodal" appear together with "pattern recognition" or "computer vision"
: any of the previous keywords or phrases is included in the scope of the journal
: none of the previous keywords or phrases appear
There are exceptions to the rules described above when the journal in question has high impact factor, or there is an special interest in promoting research lines closely related to the scope of the journal.
